The founder of Wilson’s Engineering Works Limited. His work experience started at the Innswood Sugar Estate where he spent thirteen (13) years as a Grade 1 welder who specialized in boiler repairs. This experience along with his approach to his work earned him a number of contracts with West Indies Alumina Company (WINDALCO) formerly ALCAN Jamaica Company, Monymusk Sugar Estate, Master Blend Feeds, Petroleum Jamaica Limited (PETROJAM), Salt Factory and Citrus Factory.
In 1993 Mr. N. Wilson saw that there was a demand for local companies that specialize in specific mechanical works at WINDALCO he then decided to start Wilson’s Engineering Works Limited. Since 1993 the Company has expanded into every line of engineering works to cater to all types of clients.
LOUISE J. WILSON has been involved in the company since its incorporation in 1993.
She has many years experience in the field of administration and marketing. Her experience at Jamaica Savings and Loan Building Society, and United General Insurance Company, has made her a vital member of the team.
MAURICE F. WILSON, Managing Director has been an instrumental player in the expansion of engineering services the company. He established Wilson’s Engineering Works Ltd as one of the leading companies in mechanical and civil engineering in the Bauxite Industry between 1996 -2008. Mr. M. Wilson is a graduate of the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech) where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2004. He subsequently pursued a Masters in
Business Administration(MBA) in 2006. As the decision maker at Wilson's Engineering Works Ltd, Mr. M. Wilson assisted in management of several projects undertaken by the company. He also further expanded the business to include solar design and installation, residential development and heavy equipment rental. His hands-on workmanship allows for easy communication and innovative, personal design ideas that works for each individual client he works with.
